Boundary Review

Boundary Review

The Boundary Commission for England has published details of proposed new parliamentary constituencies as part of a review to reduce the number of MPs from 650 to 600.

The Boundary Commission proposes to create a Wanstead & Woodford constituency which would include the Redbridge wards of Monkhams, Church End, Bridge, Roding and Clayhall (all currently in Ilford North), Cranbrook and Valentines (currently in Ilford South) and Wanstead and Snaresbrook.  This means that Wanstead and Snaresbrook wards would once again be part of a notionally Conservative parliamentary constituency. The remaining Waltham Forest wards will be split between a new Stratford constituency (Leyton, Cann Hall, Cathall and Grove Green) and a redrawn Walthamstow constituency (Leytonstone and Forest).
